All your recipes, better every time you cook them
Paste a link, a video or photos: the recipe comes out clean. Note what you change, ask for advice, and start again from the version that worked.
Free during the beta. No card.
One paste, the recipe is in
A blog link, a YouTube video, two photos of a cookbook page. One paste and the recipe is in, with nothing to copy out.
Just the recipe, ready to cook
No life story, no ads, no cups. Everything is converted ingredient by ingredient, step by step, into grams and °C.
Every cook makes it better
Less salt, five more minutes, another pan: every cook becomes a version, with what changed and whether it worked. The one that was perfect is still there next year.
From a video to a recipe in grams
A video, a blog post, or a photo of your grandma’s handwritten recipe: we find the steps and convert the units.
Your recipe, version after version
Less salt, twenty more minutes, a meat-free version: every try becomes a version, with what you changed. Pick the one you cook again. The others stay, and so does the original.

What you changed, and how it turned out. The recipe shows the version you pick.
How it works
-
1 Copy and paste
A link, a video, some text, photos: the recipe joins your cookbook.
-
2 Review
A quick look before it is filed: you check the quantities, then confirm. Nothing reaches the kitchen without your say-so.
-
3 Cook
Experiment and note what you changed each time. Next time, you start again from your best version.
Why is it still raw in the middle?
Ask anything while you cook: a technique, a substitute, a dish that keeps going wrong. Our AI assistant helps, with this dish or with cooking in general. Every dish makes you a better cook.
I made Home Chef because my recipes lived everywhere at once: tabs I never closed, screenshots, a notebook with sauce on it. Every time I cooked a dish again, I relearned what I had already worked out the time before: colder butter, a hotter oven. I needed one place to keep it all, easily: my recipes, my attempts, and what I learned.

Questions
- My recipe notebooks all end up at the back of a drawer.
- Of course: copying a recipe out takes ten minutes, and finding the right page again takes as long. Here an Instagram link, a TikTok or a photo of a cookbook is enough, and every recipe is one search away. The drawer can stay shut.
- Will an AI rewrite my recipes?
- No. The original recipe is kept exactly as it came, you check everything before it is saved, and conversions are arithmetic, not imagination. The assistant gives advice; you hold the pen.
- Is it really free?
- For the whole beta, yes, and no card. Paid plans will come later, announced in advance. No nasty surprise at dessert.
- Which languages?
- The app speaks English and French. Your recipes can come from anywhere: the nonna’s keeps its Italian, and the American blog’s stays in English but its cups turn into grams.
- Can I share a recipe?
- Yes, with a private link. The other person sees the recipe and, if they have an account, can copy it into theirs. Your versions and notes stay in your kitchen.
- Who owns my recipes?
- You do. We keep only what it takes to run your account: your name, your address, your recipes. No trackers, no tracking, and never any ads. Nothing is sold on.
